Released in a standard jewelbox with a 16 page booklet including full lyrics. Similar to ARC pressed Primus - Tales From The Punchbowl this has no ARC in matrix. Recorded & Mixed at Rancho Relaxo, 11// Mastered at John Golden Mastering, Newbury Park, CA. Special thanks to the Honda Generator without which this recording would probably still be incomplete due to the forces of nature/5().

"Over the electric Grapevine" is a song by the band Primus. The song is the story of an acid trip in which Les Claypool and Adam Gates had taken along the "Grapevine". The Grapevine is a segment of road between the Tejon Pass in the Tehachapi Mountains at the southern end of the San Joaquin Valley along Interstate 5 (formerly U.S. Route 99).

I pretty much like all of primus's albums. Not a big fan of Pork Soda or the Brown album however. This is def. one of Primus's underrated and underappreciated albums. and the album Tales from the Punchbowl refers to the LSD-spiked punch that was frequently served at Barrington social events/5().

Featuring one of the greatest songs ever plucked about a beaver comes 'Tales From the Punchbowl', 13 incredible tracks filled with so much spaghetti brained nonsense that you will never be the same again/5().

Though the album doesn't exclude the average listener (everyone is welcome!), those without an open mind will certainly feel as if they're missing the punch line of a particularly hilarious in-joke. Lovable and bizarre, Tales from the Punchbowl is a much fuller record than the band's previous release, Pork Soda. Guitarist Larry "Ler" LaLonde and drummer Tim "Herb" Alexander provide some of their finest work, /5().
